The liver controls the storage of blood, and female liver blood deficiency will lead to menstrual disorder and prolonged menstrual period. Without blood in uterus, menstrual period will be delayed and the amount of menstruation will be less, while storing blood in the liver will make menstrual blood descend, resulting in early menstrual period.
肝主藏血，女性肝血不足会使经期紊乱，以及经期延长，子宫无血会使经期推后，且月经量少，而肝部藏血会使经血下行，造成经期提前。
