Traditional Chinese medicine believes that loose teeth are related to the incompatibility of spleen, stomach, kidney, large intestine and liver. The upper and lower gums are on the route of the large intestine and stomach meridian of Yangming in hands and feet. Eating fatty food, wine and spicy food will damage the functions of the spleen and stomach and large intestine, so that damp heat will accumulate and attack the gums, resulting in gum swelling and pain, bleeding, tooth shaking and falling off. Therefore, the harmony of viscera and qi and blood is the foundation of dental health.
